Baby Crowder was on such great behavior yesterday! I went in for my 14 week check up, and was able to hear the heart beat in no time!! This time we got the rate, it was right around 140. We had a chat with the doc about blood testing at 16 weeks and then having the BIG ultrasound at 19 weeks!! (would have been 18 weeks, but the new bossy boss is funny about teachers missing faculty meetings...) So we're definitely excited that is so soon!!
My sister-in-law got a 4D ultrasound of her sweet baby, and found out she will be having another.....GIRL! This will make #3 for Amy & Tim. Jacob was hoping for a baby brother...maybe because his sister Kaycey has such a fun personality! :) When he found out that he was having a sister, Tim said Jacob responded, "You know, I'm fine with either one!" I am glad his little heart was open to another sister after all. :) Tim also confirmed that they would now definitely have to have hunting mornings and "guy" outings! They also bumped her due date up from March 10 to February 28th - which gave Amy a little more relief considering the month of March is BUSY for her at work (She's a CPA)!!
So thankful for these precious babies and the health God has given both me & Amy. It is funny how motherhood (even this early) reminds you of Christ's undending love for his children! A friend reminded me of this in her blog today too - she is celebrating her son's 6 month birthday & expressed how much being a mom has helped her understand God as her merciful, loving Father.
Thank you, Lord for these lessons and blessings! May all things always glorify you & bring you praise! ...even a little baby, only 14 weeks old, growing away inside its mother's womb!
