thank you!

Thanks for your encouragement after my last post. It is a little intimidating to be vulnerable & just flat honest, but how crazy is it that so many of us are battling the same issues, and instead of letting fellow believers walk through it with us, we pretend to have it all together & try to fight on our own! I think most depression & anxiety that people go through stems from just that...feeling alone in the middle of those times. Anyways...the Lord has already started to work in each area that I listed, and I know he will continue to do so.

Update on the friend - she was able to go to a Christian psychiatrist this week. He is trying to balance out the medicines she is on already & attempt to put her on a path of being medicine-free! She and her boyfriend/fiance ended up ending their relationship, which has been very humbling for my friend...but at the same time, it has brought many issues to the surface that she needs to surrender to the Lord. Continue to pray for healing there.

On a much happier note, I'm 18 weeks & growing by the minute!! I mentioned in a previous post how my appetite had increased, and boy let me tell you, WOW! I have breakfast around 6:30 on my way to work...usually have some cheese-its or a little snack around 9:30...then lunch is at 10:55...and by 2:30, I'm ready to eat again! Of course, I enjoy some kind of dinner at home or out with Bubba...and that usually winds up my day! I don't know if my body gets more tired from growing this little baby OR from digesting food all day! :) It's such a fun little adventure though!! CANNOT wait until our ultrasound next week!! We're (obviously) excited about finding out the gender, but I'm excited about seeing how much he/she has grown since our last ultrasound! I'm sure this baby has grown so much...well, let's hope so considering how much Mom's waistline has! :)
