i should be sleeping...

So by this time on a 'normal' night, I've already been asleep for a few hours... but tonight is tough to sleep!  Bubba is staying with the McMinn's in Southaven.  He had a deacon/staff retreat at church.  Usually I can still get myself in bed before now, but tonight is different.  Buzz has been sick the past 2 days, and tonight he called to let me know his fever was up to 103. No fun.  I know he's fine, and the McMinn's are taking good care of him...just wish I could take care of him too... :)  Think he's going to see Arturo (our Dr. friend) tomorrow!

Things are good overall.  I prayed for a good week at work this week, and it really turned out ok!  I had just a few frustrations - but so did everybody else in the world. :)  I don't think I left the school before 5:00 (the latest 9:00) this week, but it really went by quickly.  Booster Meeting Monday night (the 9:00 night), sball stuff Tuesday, early meeting Wed for SACS, late afternoon for sball stuff again, Thursday P-T Conferences till 7:15, and then I found my way out of there by 3:30 today!!

I have a mani/pedi gift certificate that Bubba gave me for Christmas that I just can't seem to find the time to use...I've got to fix that.

Hair day tomorrow!! (finally!!)  Haven't gone to see Robin since the weekend before Thanksgiving...it's definitely time!

Want/need to start tanning again...  but the older I get, the more weary I am of laying in a tanning bed...

Got to celebrate mom's birthday Thursday!  Family is coming over tomorrow night for dinner too.  I'm so thankful for a momma like her.  She is such a picture of grace in my life.

Speaking of grace... I am so thankful that Christ's mercies are new everyday.  I find myself giving in to frustration & 'moodiness' all too easily these days.  I want to be a woman of character & grace.  I regret the days I don't live this out to the fullest.  Thank you, God, for not giving up on me!

So I'm missing Bubba, but I've got to get in the bed.  Bella has given up on me & has made her bed on the carpet in the dining room.  Her little 'queen bee' attitude is so funny.
